Here we test your quarterbacks comprehension of the The 5 Steps of a Pass Play, and the 17 second Principle. Please click on the images for an expanded screen shot.
Starting Screen: Here you select which play you want to test your quarterback on.
Play Name - 4 Seconds:This screen tests the quarterbacks ability to recognize the play name and associate the play to the correct X's and O's.
Pre-Snap - 10 Seconds: The quarterback is tested on reading the defensive formation to determine the correct receiver progression.
(Your quarterback is able to move the screen back and forth as if they were actually on the field.)
Post-Snap - 3 Seconds: Once the ball is snapped your quarterback is tested on recognizing the Post-Snap changes (2 seconds) in the defense and correctly identify (1 second) the open receiver.
Results Screen: This screen is a breakdown of two concepts that the QDS software is designed to improve in a quarterback. The 5 Steps of a Pass Play, and the 17 second Principle. The numbers under each of the 5 Categories for a competed pass are related to how fast your quarterback was able to move on to the next stage of the test.
The more you test your quarterback with QDS the faster his visual recognition of opposing defensive formations and the ability to break them down will become.
